He is the God of Obsession, the Master of Excess in All Things, from gluttony to lust to megalomania. Slaanesh is the the Dark God dedicated to the pursuit of earthly gratification and the overthrow of all decent behaviour, as well as hedonism and amoral pleasure for its own sake. I've custom-cut some foam in my carry-case for her, so here's hoping she's tough enough to survive transit! I painted her in pretty much the same style as my other Slaanesh Daemons, with a post-varnish gloss on things like the lips and eyes, tentacles, hooves, tail etc. However, overall the model went together pretty well, and once counter-weighted (4p glued under the base) is pretty stable. There were a fair few mold lines to deal with, too, some of which I wasn't able to completely kill, as well as a couple of air-bubbles in the sword, which is also fairly flexible. I also had to pin it to the handle, which was nerve-wracking to say the least! The lash, in particular, comes straight and has to be heated up (near-boiling water works well) to get it to curve. It's a pretty tricky model to work with- the resin is very lightweight and can be a bit fragile, and some parts need a fair amount of hot water treatment to bend into shape.

She's actually 'Euryalia, Queen of Ker-Ys' by Mierce Miniatures, and I've left her basically completely unconverted except for putting her on the right base for a Greater Daemon. As you can probably tell, this here ain't no GW model!
